Over $60k awarded for District Association Development Fund


TTNZ is pleased to announce the District Association Development Fund recipients have been determined for 2022. Over $60,000 of TTNZ investment funding and equipment will support the delivery of new initiatives in all 10 Associations who applied for the fund.

Congratulations to the following Associations (in alphabetical order): 

Auckland - Juniors into Clubs and Competitions Programme

Bay of Plenty - Relaunching table tennis into Intermediate Schools Programme

Canterbury - Table Tennis Just For Young People Programme 

Marlborough - Junior Participation Programme

Northland - Schools & Community Centre Participation Programme - Development Officer

North Shore - Let's Bounce Programme

Southland - Southland initiative to increase membership of girls and families programme

Waikato - Intermediate Youth & Para activation programme

Waitemata - WTT girls participation project

Whanganui - Table Tennis to schools programmes

Jessica MacAskill, TTNZ Community Manager was pleased with the outcomes. commenting "it was great to see so many fantastic locally led initiatives from one end of the country to the other at grass roots level".
