From our success at the 2023 ITTF Oceania Junior and Senior Championship, the U15 girls team have qualified for the ITTF world youth championships, in Slovenia , 26-28 November 2023.

Table Tennis NZ is  pleased to announce the following players in the New Zealand U15 girls team to attend the world youth championships:

• Anya Chen ( North Shore)
• Yelena Yi ( North Shore)
• Ayumi Moriyama- Picard ( Auckland)

A coach for the team has yet to be appointed.

For the 2023 ITTF Oceania Championship, Yelena Yi and Anya Chen qualified for the U15 girls team via the North Island Individual Championship Oceania qualifier. We have been advised by ITTF that a 3 player team is required for these world championships, therefore the third place from the North Island Championships Oceania qualifier has been confirmed for the third player in the team.
