New Zealand's most illustrious Table Tennis player, Li Chunli has been included in the New Year Honours list. She receives the MNZM, (Member of the said order) for services to table tennis.

In 2014 Chunli, alongside sister Karen, was inducted into the TTNZ Hall of Fame.

Chunli has performed many roles in 3 decades in NZ table tennis, including Olympian, Commonwealth Games Medallist, National Coach. Selector, Board Member and National Champion. She has also run her own club for many years at the Panmure Lagoon YMCA.
