TT Kidz is Table Tennis New Zealand’s junior introductory programme for children aged 6-11.

Not at all! The TT Kidz programme is an entry level programme that is suited to all children, regardless of ability or experience.

8-hours of table tennis Fun!

A participant kit pack, which includes a bat, balls, drawstring bag and a T-shirt (Red or Pink bat). 

It is the same fun format delivered across 8 x 1 hour sessions, just for girls!

TT Kidz allows kids to develop their table tennis skills, make new friends and most importantly have fun! To ensure girls have a great first experience with table tennis, the girls only programme will emphasise creating an emotionally safe environment and level playing field in which girls can push themselves physically and mentally to develop their skill and self-confidence. The sessions will be run by a female coach at each of the locations.

The price for new participants in 2023 is $130.00 incl. GST– this includes 8 sessions of 60 minutes plus a participant kit pack that will be distributed at session 1. The price is $90.00 for returning participants (within 12 months, no kit pack required). TT Kidz providers may subsidise local programmes and choose to charge a lower fee. Please head to our Find a Programme page to find out more.

If you can't find a programme close to you, please email ttkidz@tabletennis.nz and our support team will assist you. 

One week prior to the session we suggest you double check the start date and time as well as the location. Arrive 15 minutes early to the first session so you and your child can familiarise with the hall and coach.

This will depend on the local coach. We suggest for parents to assist in sessions when asked by the coach and otherwise, watch the session from a distance. You can also make contact with your local coach to express interest in assisting.
